Ty had been watching Gemma for years now, learning her life, what she did, who was apart of it and their impact. After the many years Ty had been watching Gemma, he believed taking her was the right thing. He was certain it was a good thing, that it was helping her and saving her. He thought she would learn to love him and the surroundings and want to stay forever. He didn't picture it as stealing her. He only saw it from his angle, not considering hers, her family or friends. He believed her parents didn't love her and wanted to move away without her. Ty thought that she would be better off with him. He soon realised that Gemma didn't want this at all. No matter how close he got to her she still wanted to leave and return to her real home and family. His dream of them living together in Australia wasn't turning out the way he had hoped. It was hard to believe that he thought Gemma would actually be ok with him taking her away from her normal life, family and friends. However very slowly, Gemma grew to like him more, but she never completely changed her mind about returning home. Ty meant well, he never wanted to hurt her, however, no matter how hard he tried, Gemma couldn't see how what he had done wasn't a bad thing.
